Orofacial Anatomy

I found Orofacial Anatomy to be a very challenging course. Orofacial and cervical musculature, including associated bony attachments and innervations were all concepts I really struggled with.

The most challenging concepts for me from this course was.....

This study session really helped me fill the gaps between the differences of infiltration vs block, what tissues hard and soft become anesthetized. This was a very hard concept for me to fully understand which would hinder my ability to memorize and properly utilize the knowledge.

This study session enabled me to be more confident in local anesthesia and all it entails. I will now be able to critically think about my next move during my DH care plane for my client. This will help me with time, pain, and anxiety management for my clients.

Prior to this assignment, the idea of having to aid in or even be employed in an area where I could administer L.A, scared me. Now I am looking forward to being able to utilize the information I am more confident about.  I am also motivated to investigate the course that is offered once I become registered.
